Thursday

Quick upload of some books I made to leave in my exhibition for everyone to take one. The idea was a light hearted joke at the rules many follow on the underground. After spending most of the year travelling each day on the underground you notice many people breaking the unspoken rules. The book is super simple on a sheet of paper but once folded out and back on itself it reveals another "rule" on the back. (the photos are a bit crap, I left my camera back in london over easter)

couple of drawings from my own sketchbook

My final project for my foundation. nothing but big, big stress.
I decided that the idea behind the project should be things that were meaningful to me, how much you want to share with somebody and above all being uncomfortable. Uncomfortable not only in the sense of the content of the work but also in producing something I don't normally do in this case a installation. I definitely achieved this, never been more out of my comfort zone.

The basic meaning of a moral is a right and wrong, to me the very basic right and wrong is a truth and a lie. I decided to look up old morals related with truths and lies which link with the idea of how much you would like to share with people you know well or not at all. Everything in the room means something to me the idea that others get a sentimental feeling or something will bring back memories for them. Even if people didn't have any idea what these things mean to me the concept was that it would still be interesting enough to look at and be quite nosey.
